On this page you will find links to all the documents you will require for enrolling your child at Proserpine State School.


How to enrol at Proserpine State School

  1. Submit the enrolment package to the office and make an interview time.

  2. Participate in an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal.

To ensure that the enrolment interview is productive there are some things you will need to bring with you.  Without the documents listed below the enrolment cannot be processed.​


Please bring the following items with you to the enrolment interview:

  • Documentation proving each child's date of birth e.g. Birth certificate or passport.

  • A current passport and visa is required for any child born overseas.

  • The child’s most recent student report card and any other documentation providing information regarding your child’s learning progress to date.

Preparatory​​​

To determine when you child can commence their preparatory year, use the prep ready reckoner calculator.

Proserpine State School has between 3 and 4 fulltime Prep classes each year. Students wear the school uniform and have a booklist of supplies.


Catchment area

Proserpine State School has a large catchment area from which children come to attend school.  Outlying areas include Kelsey Creek, Crystalbrook, Up River, Gregory, Strathdickie, Dingo Beach, Hideaway Bay, Glen Isla, Lethebrook, Gunyarra, Mount Julian, Conway Beach and Maloney's Road.  These children travel to and from school each day by bus.
